Notes and History
ME 145 as originally designated in 1925 ran between Strong at ME 107 (now ME 4) and North New Portland at ME 144 (now the junction of ME 16 and ME 146), via Kingfield. After the Maine Great Renumbering, the section from north of Freeman to North New Portland became part of ME 142 (and then the part from Kingfield to North New Portland later became part of ME 16; see ME 142 for details of its routing in Kingfield and ME 16 for additional history), and the remainder has remained unchanged since.
