Mileage
Main alignment: 26.96 miles (total over all segments)

Notes and History

ME 41 and ME 134 are closely related as the latter represents the early routing of the former, and vice versa. Another small southwestern highway, ME 41 was not designated until 1939 and was considerably different, running between Starks and what was then the north end of ME 134 through New Sharon for a distance of approximately 13 miles. In 1946-7, these designations were switched and ME 41 took ME 134's entire routing (with ME 134 in turn becoming what was ME 41). The routes remain as such today.

Both ME 41 and ME 133 end at a grade-separated interchange with ME 11, ME 100 and US 202 constructed as part of the US 202 expressway upgrade; see US 202 for the history of this terminus.
