Notes and History
ME 130 is another in this string of south-central "dead-end" routes. As originally designated in 1925, it ran between Damariscotta at ME 129 and Pemaquid Point as it still does today. The southernmost section is in a loop alignment back on itself along Pemaquid Loop Rd; it isn't clear if this was the original routing. For some reason, ME 130 was extended up ME 129 to intersect US 1B in 1974-5, yielding a useless multiplex on both routes' northern termini.
