EXNET is used by ISU extension workers, ISU faculty and staff, farmers,
businesses, educational groups, media, and other organizations.

EXNET has been designed to provide a ready source of real-time data,
reference materials, educational information, newsletters, news
releases, announcements and other information needed by the public. One
of the primary services available on EXNET is electronic mail. It is
possible to send electronic mail to any other user of EXNET.

EXNET is a dynamic system with changes or updates daily. Information is
accumulated on a regular basis by University Staff and other sources
such as up to the minute weather from the National Weather Service.

EXNET is available 24 hours per  day  to individuals or organizations
with a personal computer or terminal, and modem.
