NASA Lunar Crater Observation and Sensing Satellite discovers water on the moon as man and dog have been reporting for the last few days. The method was ingenious: crash a probe on the surface and look at what it kicks up. The exact amount is argued, but everyone agrees it's at least the 24 gallons I quoted here; the NY Times is now reporting as much as 26. That's a lot of Tang.
