[Hitori Dake no Renga, your favourite anti-comic with Japanese renga/tanka.]

[5 I know that there are / 7 some other Japanese-style / 5 po-em comics out. / 7 But this is in re-n-ga: / 7 The linked duet poet form. / 5 The first stanza is / 7 in ha-i-ku, five - seven / 5 and five syllables. / 7 The second is two sevens, / 7 another poet's reply. / 5 Because I'm such an / 7 introvert, I simply talk / 5 to myself instead. / 7 Thus hitori dake no / 7 re-n-ga -- one man po-ems.]

#1: "one man poetry" (9/28/2008)

I figure it makes good sense to inaugurate HDNR on my birthday.
The image is an old passport photograph I repurposed.
If this poem doesn't make sense, see the FAQ. Although I say syllable in the poem text, morae is of course most historically accurate.
